Food Safety Modernization Act Proposed Rules Released

FDA has released for public comment a proposed rule on Preventive Controls for Human Food and a proposed rule on Standards for Produce Safety:

• Proposed Rule:Standards for the Growing, Harvesting, Packing, and Holding of Produce for Human Consumption 
• Proposed Rule: Current Good Manufacturing Practice and Hazard Analysis and Risk-Based Preventive Controls for Human Food  
• Implementing the Food Safety Modernization Act
